when we first got Bubba he at 4mos he was dark and began to to lighten. The roots on his head turned white (oh my god, this isn't a yorkie=somebody dyed him) a patch on his head turned white then the roots again began to change. Now at 20mos the hair on his head is a beautiful dark gold color and his body is steel. Sissy's color on her head is more of a tan and has lightened a little with steel on her body. Other than size it would be difficult to tell them apart but now at a year Sissy's ears have decided to be up more than down-well actually one is up and the other is a sometimes ear.
