Don't feel bad about the tapeworms. They get them from injesting fleas. So somewhere along the line Chloe swallowed a flea. Tapeworms have a complicated life cycle -- the pill from the vet should take care of them.
I always got grossed out 'case the segments look like rice..... Like who wants chicken and rice soup after...... never mind.
