 Help! Is Kodi sick?
My puppy Kodi is 13 weeks old and weighs 3 lbs. We have had him for 4 weeks and he has always slept alot (he's a growing boy after all!) but also played very energetically off and on during the day. For the last 2 days Kodi has been vey lethargic and is sleeping all the time. I even had to wake him up this morning to take him out. He has a cough that happens mostly in the evening (he makes a gagging sound and then a hack like he is spitting up a hairball) but has been doing this for a while. He was at the vet last week who checked him for Kennel Cough (no) and collapsed trachea (no- but no xrays were taken). He is being treated for scabies but they are almost gone. His eyes are running a little. I think I am a little obsessive about his health. He had bloody diarrhea right after we got him, then skin mites that made him scratch like crazy. Is it normal for him to have spells (days) where he just sleeps all the time? He won't even play with his favorite toy. |
