here is a pic of the paw protectors that I made for mine.
I made these from an old pair of jeans and some scrap material.
this is the link for the pattern. I'd be careful choosing the right fabric. (if you will be using them on hot pavement you don't want the fabric to be the kind that will melt on to their feet.) (if you are using for snow you will want it to be waterproof and maybe lined in something to keep them warm)

oh and let me add also that I used the iron on velcro too. and you could probably even make these using the iron on fusing instead of sewing. makes it easy for those who don't have a sewing machine.
