The pictures of her and her mom playing are so cute..........and I really like the one where she is alone rolling on the floor! Such a doll!
You asked me earlier "What are you thinking?" about the formula and food coming from her nose.
Right now I think Tia is adapting and trying to eat on her own. If everytime she eats on her own and she coughs and spurters and carries on, and stuff comes out her nose..............she might need surgery down the road. Its very possible.
.............But if she isnt acting sick, and when after she eats she does not wheeze, or have to lay down, or lose all energy after having food on her own. Then its possibly she is just adapting to the new things in her life. Just do what you are doing. It is obvious it is working right now. Breny You are truely doing a wonderful job.
(Most vets wont even consider surgery until they are 6 months or older anyway)
I wouldnt use the antibiotics at all if she isnt showing the first bit of sickness. .......But if she is wheezing or acting like she has problems breathing at all, it is a serious consideration.
Hugs and Kisses on the nose! |
Hi there!!!!
Tia is doing pretty good!

She's is taking more licks on her own

Deffinatly not as much as I'd like. It seems to come out her nose quicker when she drinks on her own. She has a better time with the bottle. With the bottle some only comes out when she's all done. I've been cutting back on the feedings. Sometimes the bowl is empty, sometimes its not touched. She's not even touching any type of food. Its in there for her though.
She for sure doesn't loose energy after I feed her. She sneezes alot though, but never has to lay down. And she never acts sick. What do you mean exactly by wheezing? She has a raspy sound to her breathing and always has, its louder after she eats. What would she do/or sound like if she was having problems breathing????
I for sure hope to avoid surgery. Not only for her sake, but for mine as well! ($$$$) I hear most times the surgerys don't take and they have to do 2-3 surgerys. I just don't want that. I still want to beleive in what I read at Hennwood site, on how noe of hers had surgery and lived with it all their lives.
I just always hope, everyday, that this poor little girl gets to live a happy life. I'd be devistated if things couldnt improve.
Thanks for replying!!!! I was looking for you! Have a super weekend!!!!
