We had been giving Ginger 1 mg per lb (since she's 12.5 lbs, 1 children's tab was perfectly sized) threee times a day.
In addition she was getting 1/4 tab of Medrol 2 x's a day. Sick of medicating her, I finally had her allergy tested.
Turns out her food allergy list is quite long. I could have switched foods until dooms day and NEVER would have figured it out on my own.
If your little one continues to itch, or your need for benedryl becomes chronic, consider allergy testing. Then you'll know what to eliminate.
