My little guy had the actual shot if that makes a difference, I do not know. I did give the shot to my female and there has been no problems. Am very leary about it though I just cringe when going to the vet for shots, and massage does help the injection site , do the same for my kids when they recieve shots. Did not know you could loose a pup over a shot, was very attached to the little guy, hard to loose them.. My breeder replaced him for me had to wait a couple of months for a new pup but was nice of them to do so. I thought the state should of paid me for the price of him no such luck but paid over 2ooo for all the vet fees and autopsy.
