That's what got to me. I always did take the city for granted since I worked there and just wanted to get home, but it was so cool seeing people from so many different countries really enjoying the city. I saw it through my kids eyes for the first time yesterday. My kids were like tourists and I think a lot of people thought so too with our camera and stuff until we opened our mouths! There's no mistaking our NY accent! LOL!
