after 10 years or so - you'll come to LOVE chunky soups lol (I never used to buy them, but my husband loves them now and good for me - no work)
I do make really good homemade Chicken Soup - boil a whole chicken - then let the stock sit in the fridge to get the grease off - then recook, adding all the veggies you want -
also - Barley is REALLY good in homemade chicken soup. IF you add noodles - I used to cook them seperatly then add them when I served it - egg noodles worked really well and they didn't get all mushy that way
