Lol we just bought new furniture for our living room and it is a bit too high...Kenzie can jump like a gazelle but Reggie is more timid (and he is the larger yorkie), so hubby is making them stairs for the couch...although my little son figured out a solution lickety split, he pushed his little foam couch (children size) up agaisnt the couch and now they have a little step!

But we figured that whenever a new puppy comes no matter what the age, we want to ensure safety!
Just a bit of unsolicited advice, every yorkie coat is different, requiring a slight variation in preparation for the ring. Some have a dense silk coat, some have a finer silk coat that you don't want to bog down.....so, don't go overboard with product, cause you will change as time goes on.
