I have 2 yorkies...one is 11 months and the other is 4 months. There has rarely been a night when they sleep through the night. I get up AT LEAST once each and every single night to take them out, usually twice. They both sleep in bed with me. They also wake up at 6:00am on the dot every morning and want to play. They won't go back to sleep until I take them on their morning walk. Then, they'll usually settle down and sleep a good bit more. On the weekends I am able to go back to bed after their 6:00am walk, but during the week when I work, there's no point in going back to sleep because I have to start getting ready for work at 7! Needless to say, I make it to work EARLY every morning.

I would say to just be thankful that he is trained well enough at such a young age to let you know that he needs to go potty and he doesn't go in his crate.

Have you tried letting him sleep in bed with you the whole night? What is stopping you?
