My first Yorkie and his brother were sired by one of her dogs, Mine had PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosis) and required surgery to save his life, my friend's boy has a slowed Sinus Arrythmia upon Exhale, but nothing can be done to help him, keeping weight off, and proper excercise is the only thing that will prolong his life. Fortunately these 2 boys are neutered, but I can't speak for the other FOUR PUPS in the litter. This is very sad, and I am very sorry for you.

At last count I know of 3 cases of leg perthes that has come from that little town in Attella Alabama. I'm so sorry about the liver shunt-
I'm glad you did the right thing by having the puppy repaired and I'd like to hear more about it. Did you know that there is a website dedicated to her and her friends?
