Google does this! He'll grab a chew toy and walk around the house, looking confused and whining. If you take it out of his mouth to see if he hurt himself, he looks at you like you are just the MEANEST PERSON EVER and then takes his toy back, and resumes the wandering/whining.

I notice that he does this most first thing in the morning when I come home from work, so I think it has something to do with his still being tired. When my children were babies, they'd wander aimlessly with a blanket or favorite toy, sucking their thumbs and making little noises too; that was my cue to get them in their crib for a nap! This happened mostly with my son, who was a very hyper baby who jumped and played and carried on constantly when he was awake...quite like Google does now! So, I think when Google does this, he's still sleepy or overtired.
