They will run forever!!! I traded my old one in and got $75.00 Credit too!!! It was 25 years old!! And still worked like the day It was bought!!! It has a 2 horse power moter!!! Its serious!!!

Its the LAST blender you'll ever buy!!

You can Cook soup in it the Blades spin so fast that the friction from them will actually heat and cook your ingreediants in the jug!!! And cook soup right inside the blender!! Its not bull... It works! And you can make sorbet in it too!! Its so awesome!!!! I love it!!!! I would not trade it for the world!!!!

But if you want an oster.... I have one I paid a hundred bucks for that I used twice... when I was out of town and NEEDED a blender.... Its just sitting under my Cabnet... its only a couple months old... And its got a glass jug....
Thanks for the tip, I bought the Vita Mix a few minutes ago, I found it at amazon and it gave me a 25.00 discount good until today. I don't think I'm buying the one you have b/c this one is only 359.00, but I read the reviews and did my research all over the net. I'm not a compulsive buyer but the reviews on this blender really help me to make up my mind.
