I used to work for a dermatologist. It may be something my doc called "the ash after the rash" That means anytime there is irritation of any sort, there will be discoloration at that sight. He would stress to people that it usually takes a long, long time for the darker or discolored areas to get back to normal after any type of irritation. As long as there is no redness, or weepiness or yellowish scaly stuff! This info may have nothing to do with your baby, but I thought I'd share anyway!!
