Around here in Michigan they can range from about 900-1200 for pets and IF you can find someone that has quality puppies and IF you can get them to give you breeding rights it goes WAY up. We will end paying $1600 for our newest female! She has Champion lines and AKC full breeding rights. Our biggest problem was finding a puppy that had any Champs and if so if the breeder would even THINK about giving breeding rights. No one around here wanted to give full registration at all. We could only do so after we provided the AKC pedigree of our male to show that he quality enough to breed to their puppies!
