Indiana winters!! Could be 65 degrees and sunny, or 10 below with 2 feet of snow! Last year I made trails through the snow so Otis and Oliver could chase each other. It was pretty cool cause they learned they could take different trails and catch each other at the next pass. Also, the snow was so deep that they couldn't see each other over the top of the trails. They would start jumping up and looking for each other. Sometimes they'd get brave and forge out to make their own trail. It was hysterical!! My yorkie is "cotton" coated so I think he stays a little warmer, the other is a shih-poo. I keep the play sessions short so they don't get too cold. I always watch them because they crack me up. Sometimes I even join in. If the snow is wet, he spends an hour after coming back in the house pulling and licking the snowballs off his feet. My guys LOVE the snow.
