Default worms

The bitch can have a negative stool check and still pass worm larva to the pups..the worm larva lays dormant in the systems of some bitches and under stress..such as breeding, whelping, nursing, they are transmitted...read about worms and breeding.

I had them with a litter of Doxies once..but the Yorks never got them..I had the Doxie dewormed even though the stool was negative before each breeding..kept her on heart worms med and no other litters got them. It does not hurt to worm a bitch BEFORE breeding. I am not in favor or rountine worming of pusp without a stool check..no worms, no worming.
