I have a question. You said you dewormed the mother dog if she had worms before she had the pups. Is this safe?? It won't hurt the puppies she has in her?? I would like to use as few chemicals as possible. I know flea medicine is a big no and heartworm medicine is debatable for some. Just curious whether deworming the mother dog is 100% safe for the puppy's she is carrying.
Also, this might be a stupid question, but how do they pick up the worms?? If the mother is dewormed regualarly and has been tested negative for worms and lives in a clean environment how are the puppies born with worms??
