I postponed neutering my pup until he was almost a year old - so that he would have more time to lose some of his baby teeth. And - he did - I think he lost one as old as 10 months.
Well- when I took him in at a year old - he still had two double teeth on the top and the vet had to pull those. She said they were in there pretty good and were quite hard to pull out. This, she said, is probably the reason they didn't come out on their own. They may never have come out on their own....so, I'm glad they're gone now.
