A female is usually receptive between Days 10 and 15 from the start of her heat. By Day 10 the discharge should be straw colored, not red. I would suggest you breed every other day to give the male time to regenerate. Since my male is onsite I let them pick the starting day, but usually it is Day 10 and then I breed again on Day 12 and Day 14 keeping them apart on the days in between.
With them tying 3 times last heat and no pregnancy, I think there is probably more of a problem than timing (unless you mean they tied 3 times in one day). |
