Same thing here. My yorkie from the first day we brought him home at 3 months was great with the pad got it right away. He is 5 months now and this past week has decided that he will pee on the pad but not poop on the pad. I have stopped him and placed him on the pad and he just holds it.
This morning he held it for half in hour while I was in the room, and went I went to get his food went on the floor next to the pad. I WAS GONE 2 MINUTES. He actually waited till I left. I swear he knows what he is doing.
I have been thing of switching to the Pup Head Potty system. Since he likes going to the bathroom outside as well. Has anyone used this system? Or should I stick it out with the Wee Wee pads.
I think I am going to try the Pup Head potty system. I live in a condo and have a patio. I would eventually love to keep it on the patio and let him out there to go to the bathroom, I hope I can get him to ask to go out there.
