Fasteddie!! You need to go on a road trip!! We are a unique group ... some of us are out in our Casita's more than others .... Higgin's Mom ... is a good example!
My Patrick would camp every day if he could ... I guess I hold him back!!
But he camped his entire life and I am a "newbie". I enjoy it for a few days and then I long for a "plush hotel" even though the Casita has most all the comforts of home, i.e., kitchen, bath, TV, etc. !!
But ... the part of it I really enjoy is meeting interesting people and all that goes with it!! Face it ... you generally don't have a three word conversation with anyone at the Hilton!!
