Ditto. I would add that many a small dog has been nabbed by coyotes while in open areas. Coyotes run extremely fast, grab their prey, and are gone before you know what happened. Besides, the first time she sees an animal like a squirrel or rabbit, she'll be after it. Do a chain link fence.
