I have 5 children and both of my dogs love them to pieces! They hadn't been around kids before I got them at 2 and 3 yrs. of age either. We had no problems what so ever.
The thing is, you are having a baby, not a rambunctious 2 yr. old that's instantly going to pull her hair and ears. Your dog will grow with your baby and will adapt. Teach your child to respect her and they will grow to be good friends. I really believe that it is how the child behaves that will determine their relationship.
