This should've happened yesterday, but the Dr's schedule changed unexpectedly. I checked on her about 12:30 and was told that she was almost all the way awake, just slightly groggy. Said she did great and was due a distemper/parvo shot which was given while she was under. The vet tech asked if I had a cage for her. Said that if all went well, she might could come home today after 5:00 as long as I kept her confined until tomorrow. I don't know if I'm comfortable with that. They said she could have nothing but water until tomorrow and if I bring her home and immediately put her in a cage, she's going to get very upset! What do you guys think?

(She was pitiful when I left her. She jumped up on the guy's shoulder and looked back at me like "Mama, where ya' goin". Broke my heart!!!!!) I can't stand knowing that she's not where I can get my hands on her!
