Well, Nikko is a year old and he still has accidents inside the house. He is good about going outside but we haven't neutered him yet (I am such a chicken) so he lifts his little leg around the house. He is due for his boosters next week and I will be scheduling him for a neutering as it is getting annoying. At this point it may be too late but who knows.
(Sorry for getting off track). Back to your question, I don't think boys are any harder than girls if you are patient and consistent with them. I have never had a girl but I can tell you boys tend to be more attached to their mommies and are really affectionate and cuddly.
