alright I finally did it, I brought my little guy with me to class. It was a huge lecture hall so I didn't think it would be a problem. I sat in the far back corner and he was in his bag for a bit, then he started getting bored so I gave him a couple treats (very slowly, my hand was covered with slobber by the time I was done) then he got sick of that so i put him on my lap and he was ok for a bit, well... he got sick of that so i put him on the floor (he had his leash on) so he just layed down and fell asleep... *phew! if i would've known it had been that easy I would've just put a blanket down and let him sleep. We are going to work on this and maybe it will be a daily event, but he needs work
