Looks like someone is spoiled!!!! Since he's with you throughout the day he deosn't want to be alone at night. My babies crates are in my room and they did wonderful. Well I can admit Mimi whined alot at night and my fiancee kept bringing her to the bed so needless to say they both sleep with us now . They sleep all night unless they have to go potty. I know this is not much help but just like PURPLE3198 said....try moving the crate to your bedroom.
