Hey guys! I've been away for over a month and I have missed YT so much!
I had Layla spayed on July 31st. It was hard a tough surgery.. on me! She came through it just fine, but her stitches are still there. Is this normal? I called the vet a couple weeks ago and she told me it was dissolving stitches put in and they will eventually fall out. Should they still be there after 5 and a half weeks?
Also, since she was spayed she's been peeing a LOT. I used to be able to use a pad for 2 days at the least. Now I have to change them 1-2 times a day. Does this have something to do with her being spayed?
And finally, whenever I sit on the couch or go lay in bed, she goes straight to a pillow or a cushion and puts her mouth around a corner. She doesn't chew, she just sits there with her mouth on it. It seems to relax her or calm her down I guess but I don't know if it's a behaviour that's okay for her to do or if I should try to stop it?
5 weeks is way too long without YT!
