I, personally, would wait for a Yorkie, but everyone is different. When I lost my Pomeranian many, many years ago every time I looked at Pom puppies I got so upset I couldn't even hold one. A breeder suggested I look at Yorkies, well all is history, I bought my first Yorkie and have had Yorkies ever since. They are really amazing dogs. When I lost my beloved Lacy, I bought another Yorkie. No he didn't replace Lacy, but he is very special to me and definitely got me to smile again. I didn't even want to get out of bed in the morning (severely depressed), but it all changed when I had someone else who needed me.
On this forum, we hear so much about illnesses in Yorkies, but all, but one of mine have been extremely healthy and all have been under 5 pounds. |
