Rabies boosters are given one year after the first vaccine was given.

The parvo combo booster vaccine (I never give lepto to my Yorkies) is given one year after the last vaccine in the series of puppy shots was given.

In larger dogs, a rabies vaccine is usually given at 4 months which is the same time the last parvo combo vaccine is given so the dogs are on the same schedule for both boosters.

With Yorkies, I prefer to hold off on the rabies until at least 6 months and since I wouldn't ever give two vaccines at the same time (always 3 weeks apart to give their immune system time to recover from the first vaccine) I just keep track of the dates. I, personally only give the boosters every 2 years (have even considered only doing boosters every 3 years because of all the information about over-vaccination) after the first booster and discontinue boosters all together when the dog is seven years old.
