Thanks for all this advise I appreciate it. I have been using an x-pen during the day while I am at work and have place a puppy pee pad in the corner. Lucas has been peeing on it mostly, but won't poop on it. Now as for the house, I need you help. I have been placing pee-pads in every room. I wonder if this is confusing him. He goes on the pee-pads most of the time, not all the time. I praise and give treats and this seems to work. Am I on the right track? Is is usually hit or miss in the beginning and then eventually with time they learn to just go on the pee-pad and that is it? I'll take all the advise I can get. Thanks.
