The last time I was at my pet store to purchase food, a rep for Eagle was there. I had to go around her to get the bag of Solid Gold Wee Bits I was looking for. She asked me if I had tried her products - I had, but the bites are larger for something considered small kibble and very difficult for Sissy to chew. Plus she just didn't care for it. But, as I was going to pick up a bag of Chicken Soup also, she asked why I was using it. I told her it was considered a good premium food - to which she replied that besides her product, Solid Gold, Innova, Merricks and Natural Balance - all the other "premium" foods have lots of fillers and preservatives that have no nutritional value for the dogs. She did say it was better than others, but still nowhere near the quality of the other brands she mentioned. She said that by mixing it with the Solid Gold, I was reducing the value of her food.
So, I didn't buy it. Sissy does actually like the Solid Gold and since she still isn't eating much kibble, I'm going to stick with just this product.
