 Good and Bad news
Well its all over finally, she went into labor at midnight last night and ended up pusing for about 3 hours with no puppies so we had to take her to the emergency hospital. They gave her a shot of Oxitocin and the first one was born at 4:15 am - a boy. So then they sent us home to deliver the rest. She started pushin again at about 5:00 and gave birth to a still born - we tried to bring it back but no luck. So at that point I was hysterical (crying) so my husband called an on-call vet who said we could bring her up right then and she pushed one out on the drive there so when we arrived it was half-way out of her. This one also was dead - it was a girl. SO THEN he took her back and delivered her last one and it made it! As of right now all 3 are fine but I know I will NEVER do this again!
