Please keep your baby in his carrier and not on anyone's lap while you're driving. Let me tell you why. In '02 we were in a bad accident...we had our Yorkie with us but he was in his bed in the back of the van...we got hit head on while driving down the highway. I was holding an unopened can of pop and when the air bag deployed it slammed that pop right into my stomach and bent the can. I usually let Boog ride on my lap but for some reason that day he was on the floor and I'm glad he was because I don't want to even think about what would have happened to him...he was only 4 1/2 or 5 pounds so I'm sure he would have been killed. Please...keep your baby in his carrier or secured in a car seat...he'll get used to it.
