I am trying to find a male pup near my area. I live in Santa Cruz County. I can easily go to Monterey, San Francisco, and San Jose. I'm willing to travel in the range of 70 or so miles.
I am actually hoping to get a "bigger" male in the 7lb range, so I'm guessing he'd be cheaper and easier to find. But if there's a smaller one available, I'll take him, as long as he's healthy.
One thing I should mention is price is a factor for me. $1000 dollars is just too much for me.
So with all of this in mind, should I just give up on getting a Yorkie? The more research I do on breeders in my area the less it seems likely.
