We have "markers" in the household as well and I started using belly bands. I will never be without them again! I plan on ordering very tiny ones before we get out next puppy so he will have them for times when he is allowed to run in the house free for a bit. I use a full sized ultra thin maxi but my dogs aren't real tiny (7 & 8 pounds for the yorkies and 14 pounds for the doxie). They are easy to wash by hand in between loads of laundry. Be sure to have several on hand.
Also, it may take him a little while to stop going in them regularly, but before long you will be glad to see long periods in between wet pads! |
