The same thing happened to me this summer... june... my boyfriend and i had been dating for almost 3 years.. and he decided he wasn't sure anymore.. i know the pain.. but i can also tell you that it will get better... at first i thought i would take him back if he came.. but now i realize.. and you will too.. that you don't want to be with someone who isn't sure if they want to be with you.. you deserve better than that. He and I still talk and see eachother here and there... and i think that maybe someday.... but i'm not going to sit around and wait... and just from experience... a "break" is a nice way for him to break up... he's taking baby steps.. the easy way out... and i'm sure he is a great guy.. mine was too.. honestly... he just wasn't ready to committ and got scared.. guys do that.. girls know what they want... guys... get worried... how old are you? i am 22 (23 on october 7th). We were planning on getting married and everything.. so i understand the shock and the hurt... but you will get through it... the thing i found that helped was talking about it.. i was lucky to have friends who didn't mind hearing about it for the past 3 months
time heals... it's hard.. but you will be alright
