I'm getting my first Yorkie on the 16th of Sept. She's a little girl. I don't know how much she weighs but if she gets big enough I probably will breed her a few times. I'm going to be looking for another female around Christmas. Hopefully, Lucy will have settled in by then. If not, then I'll wait till she has. I also have two rat terriers, 21 and 22 lbs. Male and female, spayed and neutered. My husband is building a small complex for Lucy so she will be safe till they realize she's a dog! They get along with all dogs but this is the first one we're bringing into the house so there will be some jealousy. The rats are very loveable and are always in our laps. Good thing the Yorkies are so little. There is plenty of room for more. I'm lucky my husband doesn't mind my having as many as I like. I grew up in New Orleans and always wished I lived in the country. Because of Katrina, I'm getting that wish! We have 56 acres and just love it. The people here are so friendly.
