Besides diapers, you can also buy pants just for this time.
My girls have Denim pants with velcro. You need to place a knapkin or panty liner inside. Plus They are wonderful, it protects my carpets and furniture.
Petco.com or Petsmart.com as well as other pet shops sells them.
Plus they are washable too.
Makes life easier.
