I feel so bad for him. Hopefully pulling the teeth will help. That toy is not the Kong, it's called Chilly Bone - it's white cloth with some kind of filling and is shaped like a bone.
I never thought of freezing the Kong - Max likes his with cream cheese in it.
I wonder if dogs can have Orajel, or some other baby teething medication. Maybe your vet can tell you if you want to go that route.

I hope he feels better real soon.
