Ooh, I know what you mean. I bought a new car when I was 20 (my dream car @ the time). I saved every penny I earned to get that car. I was living at home at the time & when my dad sold his boat, I was the only one home when the guy came & got it. He said, "Is that your car? Your Dad must really love you to get that for you" I said, "Yes, my dad really loves me, but I bought and paid for that car with my OWN money...I do have a job". I was so mad. He didn't have anything to say after that.
As for the other comments, I don't usually get them at my apts because most people around here are scared of dogs, but I get them at work from customers & stuff because I've got a pic on my desk. But I REFUSE to get rid of my picture. Everyone else has pics of their kids, why can't I?
