I don't guess it really would matter if she was registered if you wanted strictly a pet, but if you are going to breed, even if you think one day you might want to breed her, you need to be searching for a female with a sound, favorable genetic background, good medical history and one free of any medical issued that could be passed down to further generations.
I don't know this breeder, but often if they are not registered, it is not exactly favored...ESPECIALLY if you are planning to breed.
