Default Adie has a Fontanel

Adie is 15 weeks old today. The vet first told me that she has a fontanel (soft spot) when she was 9 weeks old. At that time she (the vet) said it would probably close and not to worry about it. (Just don't let her bang her head on anything.) When she was 12 weeks old my husband had another vet take a look at it and he said it was alright. (That's all he said and hubby didn't ask questions.) Now she is 15 weeks old and the fontanel is still there. It doesn't get bigger as her skull gets bigger so I'm assuming that it will, indeed, close. Any thoughts on this? I did a search but wasn't pleased with what I turned up. There were just a few posts and most of them were about dogs that still had them.

How long does the average puppy keep its fontanel anyway?
Thanks
