your baby is adorable and worth every penny! Dogs from good breeders will cost you less in the long run because you'll pay less in vet bills if your dog is healthy.
Barking doesn't usually start until they're about 6 or 7 months, and its so cute when they find they're voice! I wouldn't worry about the whining too much, she's only 10 weeks old. As for sleeping alone.....dogs are pack animals and she should always sleep with her pack (that would be your family ) because it will give her a sense of security.
