Ok, well for a special occassion, you will HAVE to get
Silver Oak Cabernet (red). It is mindblowing...beyong amazing. You can ask any wine fanatic and they will tell you it is amazing. It is about $80 per bottle, but I'm telling you it is worth it!
A white wine that I am obsessed with, but is a little pricey, is
Cakebread. I like the chardonnay, which is around $40-$60 a bottle. This stuff goes down like water. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! This is also for somewhat of a special occassion.
Another EXCELLENT mid-priced wine is
Marilyn Merlot. There is a whole collection with different bottles for different years. The bottles are collectables. Not only are the bottles SUPER cute, but the wine is amazing! I love it! It is around $20-$40 per bottle, depeding on the year, ect.
As for lower priced wines, I like
Smoking Loon (red),
Barefoot (white & red),
Yellow Tail (red),
Fat Bastard (red) and my all-time favorite inexpensive wine.....
Schmitt Sohne Riesling Blue Bottle. It is a little sweet, but very light. I LOVE it.
