Sadie did not sleep with us until she was a year old. We have a new puppy(will be 10 weeks tomorrow) I am going to try to keep her in her crate at night. I too have a high bed, Sadie fell off once...THANK GOD! she didn't get hurt. If your little one is a puppy,IMO, I wouldn't let him/her sleep with me as of yet..Not only could he fall off and get hurt, you could roll over on him during the night and suffocate him...I know someone that his happened to...
