Well I must have overlooked that thread! Every thing I have read says they should have this done...(I bought a book on Yorkies!) I did run into a woman that had a Yorkie and her baby had an ear infection. Her vet shaved the hair out of his ears. The woman that groomed Chewy said if water gets in there it can cause an ear infection and that you should also get this product that goes in the ear after a bath and it gets the water out. Any one know what she's talking about? I'm not thrilled about pouring stuff in Chewy's ears!
