I say bake some cookies and go over and welcome them to the area.

Take TeeJay with you, and let TeeJay meet up with them and let him see that your not concerned with these new people whatsoever.

If he acts up, deal with it and simply say he's not great with strangers.

This way, even if your dog is a racist, they will know that you are not.
